History: Mega Spider is originally from the year 60xx. He and his team, known as the X-Hunters, went back in time to stop an evil reploid from his time, called Necro Hunter, from changing the past. Mega Spider succeeded in destroying Necro Hunter and after doing so decided to return to his own time with his team, who were just as homesick as he was. Everything was going smoothly in their return home, but just after MadMan had activated the time portal for Mega Spider, who was the last to leave, a freak accident occured. The occurance created a temporal double. A Mega Spider now exists in both 60xx and 20xx and neither one knows which is the double and which is the original because they were both exactly the same at first and both had no knowledge of the accident at first. In 60xx Mega Spider thought that everything had gone smoothly until he went into the hall of heros in X-Hunter command center and noticed a hologram of himself. In 20xx the other Mega Spider thought that something had gone completely wrong with the time portal because the accident totaled it. A few hours later the Mega Spider in 20xx answered a temporal transmission thinking that it was one of the other X-Hunters calling to see what went wrong and why he wasn't back yet. To his shock and suprise he saw himself, at least his other self, on the other end of the line. The two spoke for hours on end trying to sort through the confusion. In the end he decided to remain in the past and renamed himself MegaSpiderX. He told the X-Knights what had happened and of his decision. They allowed him to retain the status and role that either he or the other Mega Spider had filled before. He remained with the X-Knights until their end. After that he wandered the world as vigilante hero until he hooked up with ProtoX in the year 30xx. ProtoX told MegaSpiderX about his team, X-treme Hunters, and MegaSpiderX joined on the spot. Now MegaSpiderX serves his new team as he had served the X-Knights, waiting for the day when he might one day rejoin his beloved X-Hunters and lead the X-Hunters along side his double, Mega Spider.
